Terms of Service for Host in Australia
These terms explain how our hosting services work and what we expect from customers who use them. By ordering any service from Host in Australia, you agree to these terms. The full terms shown in the client area at control.hostinaustralia.com take precedence over this summary wherever the two differ.
Services we provide
We provide KVM VPS hosting, dedicated servers and Windows RDP packages from a Tier III data centre in Sydney, Australia, shared and WordPress hosting served from a data centre in the Netherlands, and domain registration. Specifications and prices are those listed on our website at the time you order. Services are provisioned and supported through the ServerSlot platform, and RDP packages are ordered through serverslot.com.
Acceptable use
You may not use our services for anything unlawful, including under the laws of Australia or the country where the service is hosted. This includes sending spam, distributing malware, launching attacks on other networks, hosting phishing pages, infringing copyright or trademarks, and storing content that is illegal. You are responsible for everything that runs on your service, including software installed by you or your users. We may suspend a service that harms our network or other customers, and we will explain the reason where we can.
Billing and payment
Prices are in US dollars. VPS, dedicated and RDP services are billed monthly, shared hosting is billed yearly, and domains are billed per registration period. Invoices are issued in the client area before each renewal, and we accept crypto, Visa, Mastercard, PayPal and bank transfer. Unpaid services may be suspended and later terminated.
Cancellation
You can request cancellation from the client area at any time, either immediately or at the end of the current billing period. Once a service is terminated, its data is deleted and cannot be recovered, so please take copies first. Domain registrations follow the rules of the relevant registry, including eligibility rules for Australian domains.
Backups
You are responsible for keeping your own backups of all data on your services. We recommend storing copies in a location separate from the service itself and testing that you can restore them. Hardware protection such as mirrored drives is not a substitute for backups.
Limitation of liability
We work to keep services reliable, but we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits, lost data or business interruption. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the affected service during the period concerned.
Privacy and cookies
We use the details you provide to deliver services, process payments and support you, and to meet registry requirements for domains. We do not sell your personal information. This website stores your theme choice and cookie preference in your browser. Essential cookies are always on because the site needs them to work. Optional analytics cookies are used only if you choose Accept All Cookies.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always published on this page and in the client area, and continuing to use your services after a change means you accept the updated terms.
